The Collins Park Neighborhood Association and the Global Arts Project present The Artscape Concert Series featuring: Argentine composer Jimena Fama of Electro Dub Tango May 26 in Liberty Plaza, Miami Beach.
Jimena Fama is an Argentine composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Miami and Berlin. Her ingenious music offers a unique harmony of expressive vocals, bandoneon or guitar melodies over her creative approach to regional rhythms.
Her music has garnered international acclaim, with her songs being selected by several TV Shows and films across the globe, including “Dancing with the Stars”, So You Think You Can Dance”, series in Universal NBC and Apple TV. You can find her music under ELECTRO DUB TANGO.
She is currently working on her first film as a writer, director, co-producer and composer, and is thrilled to have just received a grant and support from the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and Itau to build together a dream project featuring the Culture of Argentina at its best.She is a Peugeot Artist and is endorsed by Avid Technology and UltimateEarsPro In-Ear monitors. She was selected featured Artist in “ALTA,” Aerolineas Argentinas’ Inflight Magazine, naming her Tango Ambassador.
The show is FREE: Liberty Plaza is at 2200 Liberty Ave., Miami Beach, May 26 from 5-7 PM. No tickets needed. It is a block north of the Bass Museum, where it is Family Day. Live dancers will perform.
