Hot Brass is a high energy 8 -10 piece band featuring the music from the supergroup Earth, Wind and Fire. This super HOT group also adds more flavor with songs from the 2004 Chicago/Earth, Wind and Fire World Tour.

Leader Debbie Pierce is a multi-instrumentalist Sax/Vocal/Flute- who has been performing in South Florida for over 20 years. The band is comprised of some of the best musicians in South Florida and consistently delivers not just great music, but great entertainment too!

A South Florida native, Debbie started her musical life studying piano t the age of 7 and eventually received her Bachelors in Fine Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. An early interest in jazz and classical music, the influence of Latin music absorbed from her life in South Florida, as well as an infatuation with hard core funk, has led to an extremely varied and eclectic musical vision. Hot sax and cool vocals!

A professional musician by the age of 16, she has shared the stage with such performers as The Drifters, Doc Sevirensen, Robert Goulet, Nancy Wilson, Benny Mardones and Eddie Money. You might have seen her at Mar-A-Lago, South Florida Ritz Carltons, The Breaker’s Resort, The Biltmore Hotel, and more. the list goes on to reflect a varied and successful career. Not confined to South Florida, she has performed all over the eastern United States and Caribbean… from the Berkshires, New York City, Cape Cod and Houston, TX to Marsh Harbor, Bahamas and Panama City, Panama.

The Band: The Vocalists: Darren Austin has recorded and performed with national acts such as Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan and Patty Labelle. Beautiful Misty Holke connects and moves people with her voice as evidenced by the overwhelming audience response.

The Rhythm Section: Drummer Guiseppe Pucci comes to Florida directly from a stellar performing career in NYC. Nicky Orta , bassist, has performed all over the world with national acts, including Julio Iglesias and Gloria Estefan. Guitarist/vocalist Phil Fest is not only a guitar whiz, but also a successful Brazilian recording artist. Keyboardist and singer Hal Roland performs at exclusive local venues and has established an innovative virtual piano bar online.

The Brass: Trumpeter Doug Michels is a world-class musician and plays regularly with Gloria Estefan, KC and the Sunshine Band and many Broadway touring companies. Waldron Dunkley is probably one of the very few Reggae trombone and tuba players. The youngest member of the group, he is at the start of his career after studying at FSU.
